Sollid has extensive experience in the industry. In the 1990s, she founded the company Digital Hverdag, which was later listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange under the name Cell Network. The company had a market value of 9 billion Swedish kronor and became one of the largest internet consulting companies in Europe. The Norwegian division was later spun off and listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange as Bouvet ASA. Sollid has also held over 40 board positions in Norwegian business, including with major Nordic energy companies such as Hafslund.
